Dear Alfresco Family,

Due to the very positive message delivered by Boris this week, we can confirm Alfresco Festival will be taking place on the August Bank Holiday of this year. 

Moving forward, we will be keeping many of our planned COVID safety measures in place, such as running at 25% capacity of the festival site’s potential. We have also kept our line up predominantly from the UK, as we don’t want to risk any travel restrictions further down the line. Our first wave of acts will be released next Friday, March 5th and tickets will also go on sale on that date. Tickets previously bought carry forward automatically. 

If necessary, we are prepared for rapid testing, and have already been liaising with various suppliers that have 10 minute tests promising 100% specificity so we can create a safe site. Even if we need to implement this, it does mean…. come August bank holiday…. we’ll be dancing in the woods once again!

Regarding refunds, we still have about 20% to return from last summer’s proposed event. Now we are guaranteed to be back trading, clearing these are our priority and we can only apologise for the delays and thank you for your understanding once again. However, we would like to reiterate, holding on to your tickets saves you your booking fees and is still the best way to support the festival. 

With three festivals planned for summer all going on sale from next week, we look forward to a summer of celebrating with you all but with your safety still paramount, thank you.
