Cherub Records

On the Sunday of the Festival (27th May), we welcome Berlin based, vinyl-only imprint, Cherub Records to host a stage throughout the day and night.

Headlining proceedings will be Italojohnson. The shadowy trio shy away from publicity, keeping their true identities anonymous. They made their name releasing a series of 10 and 12 inch white labels on their eponymous label. Each one of these cuts, whether it be a loopy techno banger, a bouncy house jam or something much more left field, oozes with charm. Beyond this though, the trio are equally known on the international scene for their stellar DJ sets, playing at some of the best clubs around the world. Their set at Berlin’s Panorama Bar can be heard below:

Italojohnson Boiler Room:

Joining the bill is Cherub Records’ head honcho and Alfresco resident, Jonah Considine.

Joining them are the resident DJs of Northern club night Resonate. Resonate has paid host to various techno stalwarts such as James Ruskin, Mark Broom, Len Faki, Cleric and Dax J.

DJ Big Leg and Cherry B will also be in attendance.Their Childplay label has been responsible for some of the best and most collectable weirdo house jams of the last couple of years. They also run a series of a parties around East London that draw a true dedicated, cult following as well as a regular weekly show on Netil Radio.

Finally, Ken Rosenberg wil be showcasing his extremely vast knowledge. His party Eyes Have Babes at London’s Waiting room celebrates all things left-field in dance music, with a music policy that connects the dots between electro, new beat and Italo disco.
